The path of Digital Transformation which is evolving the market and affecting almost every aspect of our lives necessarily needs of new skills. A double-edged challenge to the advent of new technologies and new ways of using services. It will be discussed later this month in the capital at the event Digital Talent Gap Workshop.
Digital Talent Gap Workshop, the event
Currently there are about nine million ICT specialists present in Europe, two million more than five years ago. Growth is undisputed, but considering the trends, more and more will be needed: already today there are many positions open across the continent, without candidates possessing the appropriate skills to occupy them.
Representatives from academia and industry, companies from all sectors and sizes, as well as those directly involved will participate in the Rome event: students. The focus will be focused in particular on areas such as those of theartificial intelligence, of the cybersecurity and ofsoftware engineering. A useful day to share points of view, statistics, experiences, to lay the foundations for the creation of synergies and collaborations, to find together solutions to those that today are labeled as problems, but that can evolve into opportunities.
One of the objectives is to have a discussion about the measures needed to preserve theinnovation and guaranteed competitiveness of European companies, supporting at the same time the creation of new jobs and supporting universities (but not only) in the definition of new training courses suited to meeting the needs that are constantly emerging. The event will be staged at the NH Collection Hotel Roma Centro (via dei Gracchi, 324), from 08.30am until 5.30pm.
