In an attempt to find new ways to monetize their business, Mozilla a service announced the end of 2018 VPN bound to Firefox. At the moment it is available only in the United States, on computers with Windows 10 operating system and starting from today also on devices Android thanks to the debut of the beta version for the official application, in download on Play Store.

The cost of access is fixed in $ 4.99 per month. Mozilla's intention is to extend the service's reach to other territories in the not too distant future. Made in collaboration with Mullvad which ensures that user activity is not tracked in any way, offers the possibility of relying on servers located in 30 countries around the world using the WireGuard standard which, unlike traditional protocols (such as OpenVPN and IPsec) guarantees performance better and a more robust information encryption system.
Firefox Private Network VPN is currently still in the process closed betatherefore, in order to test it, you must first request access and join the waiting list by registering on the official site.
The premium service is not to be confused with thefree browser extension (also though for now limited to the USA and in closed beta) which, without any expense, offers up to 12 hours of use per month.
